Keeping Construction Moving Through Winter Chaos
After a brutal January blizzard in 2008, half the construction sites in downtown Woburn were buried under snowdrifts that muffled every sound. The cold bit into workers’ fingers and slowed progress to a crawl. Projects stalled without proper sanitation facilities nearby, threatening costly delays and unhappy crews. The freezing temperatures made quick solutions mandatory to keep everyone on site safe and productive.
Our crew hustled through the snow the morning of the storm’s end, maneuvering our trucks carefully to deliver and set up portable toilets exactly where crews needed them. We used insulated units with heaters to combat the cold. Within hours, workers had warm, accessible facilities, which kept morale and productivity up during the worst weather. The project got back on track without major downtime.
Tanner City Portables saved our site during that freeze with quick, reliable service and warm units.
